[Q] Bean, my favorite BeanBlog entry no longer appears on this page. What gives?
[A] It has probably been archived.
[Q] I heard you did some drawings. Where can I see them?
[A] I post links to them in my blog entries. You can see a complete directory listing of them here. Also, you can suggest my next drawing subject matter by emailing me your idea.
[Q] How did you make this blog, Bean?
[A] I used the free service available from WebCrimson.
[Q] I love your page, Bean, and I'd like shower praise upon you. How can I do this?
[A] You can email me at email@example.com or leave a comment or two.
Beanblog.org will no longer be updated. All future blogs will go to beanblog.com. I am switching to blogger because Webcrimson is too unreliable. More deets here.
Wedding -Stef and I are getting into this whole wedding planning thing. Keep November 13, 2004 open on your calender, and be sure to check out wedding.schy.org for wedding details. It doesn't have much content in it yet (I am still building it), but we will be finishing it soon. I did all of the graphics myself.
SummerDuck Plunge - July 17 is the new date. I am going to build the Plunge Pond this weekend (anyone wanna help?), and try to set up some kind of RSVP system at www.summerduckplunge.org.
HalloBean - HalloBean 5.0 will happen October 30, 2004. See www.hallobean.org for details. I haven't gotten into the prop-building and planning yet this year, but I do have a few projects from last year that I will complete and possible expand upon this year. Also, I'll have some pneumatic props for 5.0!
Cold Room - The cold room (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) is holding stead between 38F and 43F. I have 1 keg of tasty BaccaChew Wheat on tap and 1 keg of St. Ducks Porter that went bad (gonna dump it). I don't have the taps mounted through the wall yet, but that's on my to-do list for the upcoming weeks.
Brewing - I built a large 2-tiered workbench to hold all of my brewing equipment and am in the process of building a HERMS brewing system. I have most of my vessels mounted on the workbench and a magnetic-coupled pump for moving hot fluids from one to the other. I'll blog a detailed blog about it some day, after I finish putting it all together. I dont have the heat exchanger for the HERMS built yet, but I am still goign to brew something this weekend with the equipment I have. Not sure exactly what just yet.
So yeah... lot's of stuff going on. It's gonna be a busy summer and fall.
About 2 months ago, during our winery tour, Stef and I stopped by Bloomfeild, IN for a night to hang out with some ducks. M1, Seleb, and Scuba Steve (along with their respective girl-types) drove down too, to meet up with Dooley at his under-construction house in BFE.
But the BBQ Ranch wasn't the purpose of our trip. Soon, we continued on to Niggs Pizzaria. Actually, the place we went was Monty's Pizza, but it next to Niggs. According to this sign, it's "Miller Time" at Monty's. Unfortunately, the only draft beer they had was Busch Light. We ordered a big pizza cooked by Monty (who wasn't wearing pants). Grubbin' out commenced, followed by some drinking at th elocal Bfelt bars. A good time was had by all.
Side note: Seleb is an organic machine with one purpose - turning pizza into poop. There is a story to this, but I'll leave it up to him to tell it.
My sophomore year in college, I decided to rent a house off campus with two other guys (non-fraternity folk). About 2 weeks before school was going to start, JCTMH and I drove up to the Haute to get the keys, move in a few bits of furniture, and check the place out. While there, we decided to get drunk and crash in the new pad for the night. We didn't have cable set up yet, so when we went out to get beer (thanks to Jeans fake ID) we also picked up a few movies to watch.
After downing the first few beers, we realized that there was a problem. The water was turned off. This made it difficult to pee. Outside was not an option due to the close proximity of neighbors and total lack of privacy, and indoor urination was limited to 2 times, since there were 2 toilets with full resivours. A few hours into the evening, and a few pisses in each toilet later, we decided to flush it. For the rest of the night, we peed in the toilets knowing that we would not be able to flush. Bad move.
We left the next morning and headed home. 2 weeks later I came back to the house (which had no AC turned on) to discover a repulsive smell throughout the entire place. That rotten piss smell almost made me vomit when I opened the door. Even after airing the place out for a few days, the smell was still there. It was perhaps one of the nastiest smells I ever done smellt. Definately low on the trach-bang scale.
To put it bluntly, I like pooping. The following are my reasons:
It feels good. When you are all "filled up" and finaly get to drop the kids off, it's such a great feeling of relief.
M dot out. I am a big fan of mass flow out of my body. This leads to me being less fat. The more I poop, the skinnier I get. This goes for peeing too. Not so much for vomitting, because of the taste and whatnot.
Fun topic of conversation. Anytime two guys are talking, and a voids arises in the conversation, you can discuss you latest BM. Hilarity ensues. This is very prominent in the duck.
Reminder. Remeber what you ate for dinner last night. I love to eat, so thinking back to that awesome feast from yesterday brings me pleasure (or regret it if it was spicey).
Break. Isn't it nice to just take a break fom work to lounge on the pot for a few minutes. Now that's some quality ME time.
